Incorporated in 1975, Marina is the newest and the fastest growing city on the Monterey Peninsula.  Situated at the heart of the Monterey Bay in a coastal area with gently rolling hills, Marina is home to a unique state beach and beautiful parks and recreational facilities.  With the closure of Fort Ord, Marina is in the process of extensive growth and development.  We invite you to join our efforts to make Marina a community in which we all would be proud to live and work.
